Section-11, Cable bundle 1, Installing the cable management arm, latching front and rear

Procedure

For reference only:
  • Figure 1 shows only cable bundle 1 installed in the rack.
  • Section-47, Table 1 lists the cable groups and cable types.

  1. Locate cable bundle 1 in Box 10 of 10.
  2. Management enclosure left rail (viewed from rear), pivot blue handle to open position. See Figure 2.

  3. Cut the white plastic cable tie (white arrow). See Figure 3.

  4. Let cable bundle 1 hang down. See Figure 4.

  5. Lift cable bundle 1 with the left hand underneath the left end of the cable management arm (black arrow). See Figure 3. Use the right hand to support the other end.
  6. Set the left end of the cable bundle on to the left end of the cable support arm, next to the blue handle (white arrow). See Figure 4. Let the cables hang down as shown.
  7. The following steps fasten the front and rear arms to the right rail (viewed from rear). See Figure 5.

  8. At the end of the rear arm (red arrow, Figure 5), locate the rear arm tab Callout label 2 and fasten it to the rail. See Figure 6.

  9. At the front of the rack, slide the management enclosure rails out half way. See Figure 5.
  10. Latch the cable management front arm (white arrow, Figure 5) to rail. It is above the support arm pivot point.
    1. From the front of the rack, pull the cable management front arm to the front.
    2. Connect it to the rail bracket Callout label C. See Figure 6 and Figure 7
