Section-26, Cable bundle 2, Installing the I/O enclosure (1G3/1G4) cable tie bar and connecting cables

Procedure

  1. For reference only. Cable bundle 2 fully installed in the rack. See Figure 3.
    1. Figure 1 shows only cable bundle 2 installed in the rack.
    2. Section-47, Table 2 lists the cable groups and cable types.

  2. Locate cable bundle 2 in Box 10 of 10.
  3. Install the I/O enclosure cable tie bar.
    1. Cut the orange plastic ties as needed.
    2. Locate the cable tie bar right end with white location label, Cable Bundle 2, I1-1G3/1G4.
    3. The I/O enclosure cable tie bar installs above the enclosure. This allows the enclosure adapter to be removed.
    4. Install the cable tie bar behind the flash enclosure (I1-F4) using hole 2. See Figure 2.

  4. Connect the I/O enclosure (I1-G3/G4) cable tie bar cables to the I/O enclosure. Use the cable location labels. See Figure 3.
