MAP2610 SRC BE19390x for rack battery module error

The FRU(s) that are listed in the serviceable event FRU list after this isolation MAP have a condition that does not require replacement of the FRU. However, the FRU must be logically reset. Use this MAP to perform a pseudo repair of the FRU.

MAP2610 Section-1

Procedure

  1. Are you here because a rack installation failed?
    • Yes, at the rear of the rack confirm that the battery enclosure circuit breakers CB0 and CB1 are set to ON (up) for all battery enclosures. Then exit this MAP and follow the procedures to restart the rack installation.
    • No, continue at the next step.
  2. Understand this special case repair action:
    • The serviceable event FRU list that contained MAP2610 is followed by one or more rack battery module FRUs.
    • The listed FRUs do not need to be replaced, but they must be logically reset.
    • A FRU will be logically reset when you perform a pseudo FRU replace. During a pseudo FRU replace, use the standard FRU replacement procedure, but do not disconnect the cables or physically remove the FRU.
  3. Before performing the pseudo repair, confirm that the battery enclosure circuit breakers CB0 and CB1 are set to ON (up) for all battery enclosures.
  4. Return to the HMC repair screen that sent you here and then select the next FRU to be repaired. Do a pseudo FRU repair. When the service Information Center (IC) parts replacement procedure is launched, do not disconnect the cables or physically remove the FRU. Scroll to the bottom of the IC procedure and then return to the repair screen that launched the IC screen. Complete the repair normally.
  5. After all serviceable events with SRC BE19390x have been successfully repaired, run CDA preverify again to verify that all rack battery backup (BBU) problems are now resolved.
    • If running CDA preverify causes more BE19390x serviceable events to be opened, contact your next level of support.
