Before you begin

Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Exchange Parts. If the FRUs are listed in this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.

Procedure

  1. Replace the CEC enclosure service processor card time of day battery. If the service processor card is not in the serviceable event FRU list that sent you here, see MAP1240 Locating FRUs by using identify indicators
  2. After replacing the battery, perform a slow boot. See MAP4820 Performing a slow boot of a CEC enclosure.
