Determining mainline power cable type (plug-in or wired)

Procedure

Locate the customer end of the DS8000® mainline power cables.
Determine if the customer end of the mainline power cables are for plug-in or wired installations.
- Plug-in: The DS8000 mainline power cable has a plug at both ends. Go to Checking power for a plug-in mainline power cable.
- Wired: The DS8000 mainline power cable has a plug at one end and loose wires at the other end. Go to Checking power for a "wired" mainline power cable.
